Identity
Emalaide
So, who's it for and what's it about?
Emalaide chosen to name Emalaide after her son’s pronunciation of ‘lemonade’, Kate Proctor needed an equally effervescent identity to capture the carefree nature of her handmade creations. Emalaide’s offerings consist mainly of garments, accessories and toys for children, boldly patterned and made for everyday play. Inspiration for the mark was found in vintage beverage labels and 1960’s children’s book illustrations, resulting in a retro-style mark that references the business’ relaxed style, the nature of its wares and the origin of its name.
