So, who's it for and what's it about?

When Peter and Lexie Rickards chose to refresh the name of their bed and breakfast, an opportunity arose to create a new identity system that reflected the business’ boutique nature and sophisticated style.  An Art Deco typeface complements the farming property’s 1920’s homestead, while a stylised acorn is created using shapes from the breakfast room’s stained glass windows.  When added to the letterform, a decorative reference is made to the business’ name that is inspired by the property’s giant oak tree.
